Boulder, however, has been luring tech industry veterans and young entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley and Manhattan with promises of a tech community that allows for lunch-break hikes in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.” “The indefatigable Brad Feld and his TechStars colleagues will scale the mentorship-driven startup accelerator model to 15 independently owned and operated regional organizations. Over the next three years, the TechStars Network will ensure that 5,000 successful and experienced entrepreneurs and investors will mentor and support 6,000 promising young entrepreneurs, increasing their success rate tenfold and creating 25,000 new jobs by 2015.

The Boulder Innovation Center connects talent with opportunity. As Boulder’s Entrepreneurial Hub, our core skill is getting the right people in the room. To support this effort, we’ve developed a database of almost 900 screened and qualified advisors that we draw from to help local early stage companies and commercialize technology from the University of Colorado and the Colorado School of Mines.
